Dorking Snorkelling Club
Building Snorkelling Confidence

Branch 3081 of BSAC

 Dorking,  Surrey, England

Fees & Joining requirements

The minimum membership requirements are that you are at least 8 years old and have the ability to swim 50 metres comfortably (using a front stroke).

Membership fees (from September 2017) are £51 per term for juniors and £54 for Adults (age 18 or over). Per Club policy, please note that payment for memberships received after the second session of a term will be subject to a late payment fee of £5.00

We are part of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and our members do need to join BSAC as well, after the first try dive. This costs £20 per year (March 2020) and includes your BSAC Qualification Record Book (QRB) and provides third party insurance cover. The QRB is your personal record of your achievements and as you progress through the grades additional sections can be added at a cost of £8.50, this covers the cost of the supporting training materials (that tell you more about snorkelling) and qualification card.

We offer a DOE concessionary rate of £45 for those members using Snorkelling as part of their DOE award.

We now also have a sibling’s discount. This is a 10% discount for both/all siblings in a family which works out as £45.90 each for juniors
